Manufacturing Process Control - Access 97, Access 2000, Visual Basic 6.0
Provided screens for data entry, inquiry & edit for orders, customers, part numbers, tooling, machine schedules, employee time sheets, materials, shipments. Used VBA for lookups, data validation, error recovery; along with Access SQL to create querydefs & perform action queries. Provided for adding new customers, part numbers, and tooling 'on-the-fly' directly from the order entry screen. Created .mde version for data entry, and corresponding code to upload & refresh mde data

Responded to critical database crash caused by network hardware issues. Developed quick-entry program for re-entry of historical data that was missing from the backup.

Converted front-end to Access 2000. No issues or problems were noted.

To simplify roll-out of program updates to the PC's, I developed a loader program in Visual Basic that compares the mdb version of the local copy to the one on the server, copies the new version if necessary, and then launches Access with the local copy.
